Willem Hendrick van der Nat (1864-1929) 

Born 4th September 1864 in Leiden, Holland, van der Nat studied there under H.P. Bremmer. His early work was influenced by the watercolours of the Leiden artist Floris Hendrik Verster (1861-1927). He exhibited in Holland until shortly before his death and his works are fairly frequently to be found in Britain and USA. Represented in public collections in Amsterdam (Rijksmuseum) and Leiden. He died on 11th July 1929, aged 63.
