Description

Oil painted, ebonised and gilded snap-top occasional table, the top painted with a highland scene after Sir Edwin Landseer's famous painting in the Duke of Wellington's collection at Apsley House, "The Illicit Highland Whisky Still". Enclosed within a circular lobed frame on a baluster support on three scroll legs. 19th Century. 17ins diameter, 21ins height
